Most virtualization benefits can only be enhanced and realized if the virtual machines are being run on a managed cloud service. Companies are able to make more efficient utilization of their IT resources. In the case where cloud infrastructure service is employed all these benefits are compounded. This is because cloud computing services allow a company to optimize capacity based on needs. The company is only expected to cater for the expenses incurred in paying for all resources needed to satisfy the performance of the virtual machines.
