Throughout the old testament we see that there are prophecies and foreshadows of what is to come in the future. Some of these prophecies are about the coming of Christ and of his crucifixion, we also see that the crucifixion and the resurrection was not just for Jews but it was for everyone who are saved by faith and through Christ Jesus. In Romans 3:22 it says “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile” and this once again is showing that Christ is for everyone who believes and that everyone is saved through faith. Another thing that is show in scripture is that Noah was a chosen one to be saved and to continue on the human existence. In Genesis 6:7-8 it says “So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” This verse shows that in the world of wickedness there was still one good person who God saw favor in and this is foreshadowing the coming of Christ since there is only one person who could …show more content…
