· Allow Veterans to See Any Doctor Outside of the VA I chose this choice because I want to make sure that the veterans get the care they need. Due to the reports that there are veterans that do not receive the care they need from the VA because of the long wait list; this choice will allow veterans to see doctors outside of the VA. As a result, it will increase the government spending by $560 billion dollars and increases the national debt by 7% in the long-term due to the extended funding. The benefit of this option is that the veterans will have dependable services. but, the disadvantage of this is, the doctors from the private hospitals would be paid according to the operations they do. so, the more complicated the operations and the treatment the veterans need, the higher the operating cost would be (Pros and Cons of Privatizing Veterans Health Care, n.d.).

· Offer Free Community College This option will increase the government spending by $70 billion and increase by 2% in the national debt in the long-term. I chose this decision because this will add revenue to the government and help lower down the national debt. Moreover, it will help the Social Security system to continue functioning and funding benefits to the citizens. The benefit of this is, it will increase the revenue by $90 billion and decreases the national debt by 3% in the long-term. On the contrary, people who make a lot of money of more than $120,000 to $360,00 will lower their Social Security benefits.
