• Aversive Racism is some type of prejudice that is held by individuals who have positive attitudes, values and morals but unfortunately, they are able to experience negative emotions, and feeling uncomfortable while interacting with different people of different racial groups.
• White Privilege in my opinion is something as simple as “whites” having many advantages for being white in a racial society. It is more of the fact that white people may feel overpowering over other races and they have more rights over the minority racial groups.
Aversive Racism affects our society because racism occurs and exists in many situations where it is not clear on whether there are several social prohibitions against any negative racial beliefs but on the

The impact of racism starts off earlier and earlier now a days within our societies, younger kids know more than they should know when it comes to being “racist.” An example of this from the book is from Part II, Chapter 1 and it says “Even in preschool years, we are exposed to misinformation about people different from ourselves. If a traffic cop pulls me over or if the IRS audits my tax return, I can be sure I haven’t been singled out because of my race.” (Rothenberg) These are a few of the long list of examples that stuck me the most ad are very clear on what white privilege is. Overall both of these terms are something that our society will always have some type of control over and something that will always be there no matter how many years down the road we
