Before Shay's Rebellion the government was weak and unorganized and taxes and wages were unfair to the citizens. Farmers at the time were angry at the fact that they were loosing land just because of high taxes and the shortage of currency that was caused by the weak economic system. Shay's Rebellion consisted of the outraged farmers attacking courthouses because of all the unfairness that was being sent towards them. They gave more money for taxes and received low currency. The farmers as well rebelled against the "government" so they wouldn't foreclose their land.
No doubt about it, we support the Union. We need to get the Southern states back into the Union and abolish slavery there. We believe Antietam could have ended quicker with less casualties if General McClellan had used his advantages while he had them. He should be fired from his high position for what happened at Antietam. He lost 12,400 men because he didn’t use advantages while he had them.

Conclusion Patrick Henry’s speech was very powerful and moving for numerous reasons. First, he used a correct blend of logical and emotional appeals. Adding on, he used allusion to allow the audience to compare their situations to other situations, and rhetorical questions to get them to really think about the topic at hand. Also, his occasion, tone, and purpose of the speech all was appropriate for their status at the time. Over all, Patrick Henry’s speech was stronger than Jonathan Edward’s speech whose main issue was his tone, taking away his emotion and his purpose of the sermon.
The main reason why the Framers didn’t succeed in their final compromise is because it was too difficult to make all the delegates (who were basically competing) agree with each other, so numerous issues were ignored and most plans were severely compromised. An example of this is the debate between larger and smaller states over their representation in the newly proposed Senate. Two solutions were significantly favored: the New Jersey Plan and the Virginia Plan. The smaller states were in favor of the New Jersey Plan, which would enforce each state to send the same number of representatives to Congress. The larger states supported the Virginia Plan, which called for each state to have a different number of representatives based on the state’s population.
Senator Patrick “Pat” Toomey has represented Pennsylvania valiantly for many years but his recent voting decisions and past bills has lost the voice of citizens in Pennsylvania. As a senator of Pennsylvania, he has made rash votes that has cost much support from his own Republican party and much of the Pennsylvania. The voices Pennsylvanians have been lost in the senate, now more than ever there needs to be a change in Pennsylvania to give the voices back to the Pennsylvanians and help growth our great state. In the last two decades, Pennsylvania swung from a Republican state to a Democratic state in the Presidential Elections.

Pendleton believes in ratification to keep the peace and order among citizens, Pendleton also believes that no society can exist without peace and order. “It is the interest of the federal [government] to preserve the state governments; upon the latter the existence immediately from the state legislatures; and the representatives and the president are elected under their direction and control; they also preserve order among the citizens of their respective states, and without order and peace no society can possibly exist.” With this statement Pendleton

There are 2 limbs in the test derived from the case of Lange v Australian Broadcasting Commission. CITE The first limb is whether the law burdens the freedom to political communication on government and political matters, the second limb is whether the law is consistent and appropriate towards the system of representative and responsible government. In order to determined whether the law is valid or invalid, if
The Revolutionary Reconstruction After America was devastated by the Civil War, several critical developments were instituted into the general idea of revolutionizing the future of America in constitutional and social aspects. In the reconstruction period of 1860-1877, several of these conflicting proposals, such as the additions of the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments and the essential compromises to balance governmental powers, loomed amongst the future of black citizens and the future of America. Although it is argued that these acts did not contribute long or short term benefits to the overall betterment of our developing nation, I believe that the majority of the implicated concepts provided concret reasonings to perhaps provoke the greatest

The World’s Centre of Gravity has shifted couple thousands kilometres to the East, but ‘As Xian argues ‘’China needs Mackinder’s heartland to reduce the enormous strategic pressure from the eastern Pacific’’ ‘ (Knutsen, 2014, p.18). Of course Mac-kinder is one of the greatest geopolitical thinkers ‘…Mackinder (1861-1947) was that rare beast in British twentieth century public life – a polymath […] The three versions published in 1904, 1919 and 1943 constitute his important legacy in terms of strate-gic thought’ (Slon, 1999, p.15).
