oaching according to dictionary.com is to “illegally hunt or catch (game or fish) on land that is not one's own, or in contravention of official protection.” Poachers are killing different species of animals for “sport” today, and this is leading to the extinction of these species mostly in Africa’s terrain. Many credible sources on this topic agree on some things within poaching, and they also disagree on some things in poaching. There is also one source stronger than others within the topic. Between the authors that were found they agreed on two things that hunting for sport was affecting the economy where it was happening, and the number of endangered species have gone up. Erwin H. Bulte claims in “Open access harvesting of wildlife: the poaching pit and conservation of endangered species” that the species caught at the low level countries will benefit them economically in the long run due to the rising price of these animals (Bulte 2003). Mindy Weisberger emphasises what Bulte, and Messer were suggesting in “Hunting Big Game: Why People Kill animals for Fun” that poaching has created a positive economic impact. This article has no bias in it as it has two points of views from biologists and the hunters. He interviews Craig Packer a lion biologist in the article to get his point of view on poaching “Lions really are becoming more of an endangered species, and hunters should really not shoot these animals for sport unless they can provide positive evidence that they’re having a salutary effect on lion conservation.” (Paterniti 2017). Here is getting the point of view of the poaching from a biologist. He also interviews a hunter Kai-Uwe Denker who is a professional hunter in Namibia. When asked if he thinks hunting is bad or not the states, “Hunting as such is not perverted. It’s in our genes. If hunting is immoral,”(Paterniti 2017). Because he is able to get two different point of views in his article it makes his argument very strong and unbiased. In the article he also has reliable sources as stated before he interviewed biologist Craig Packer, he also interviews Caitlin O’Connell a biologist and elephant researcher, and he also interviews biologist Joyce Poole. Not only does he interview biologist he also interviews a plethora of well-known hunters. He has effective data and backs it up with charts. An example of
