Instead others want Harriet Tubman to be the new face of the $20. Afterall, Andrew Jackson is one of the U.S’s biggest contributors.
In the heat of World War II a plane full of schoolboys crash-landed on a deserted island, two boys out of the rest start to develop a rivalry with each other, due to differences in ideals and priorities. As some boys descended into madness one boy, Ralph, rose above them to attempt to lead the boys out of the situation, and back home. Similar to how Gandhi led India out of Britain's oppression in a nonviolent way to bring the country together. Ralph in Lord of The Flies shares many leadership qualities with Gandhi, such as determination intelligence, and how they handle adversity. One way Gandhi and Ralph are good leaders is their determination, and sheer willpower to accomplish their goals.

Conclusion Patrick Henry’s speech was very powerful and moving for numerous reasons. First, he used a correct blend of logical and emotional appeals. Adding on, he used allusion to allow the audience to compare their situations to other situations, and rhetorical questions to get them to really think about the topic at hand. Also, his occasion, tone, and purpose of the speech all was appropriate for their status at the time. Over all, Patrick Henry’s speech was stronger than Jonathan Edward’s speech whose main issue was his tone, taking away his emotion and his purpose of the sermon.

“No president who performs his duties faithfully and conscientiously can have any leisure” (Shattan, 32). Polk's presidency (A forgotten one) has impacted America in a variety of positive ways because Polk was determined and a workaholic. President Polk, considered one of the “higher quality” presidencies has been long forgotten for no apparent reason. This man has accomplished a great deal during the four years he served this country. The 11th president of the United states impacted America positively with his exceptional leadership and diplomatic astuteness.
When most people think of great U.S. presidents the first to come to mind is usually Theodore Roosevelt. He was remembered as knowledgeable, honest, strict, and unwavering in his policies. Most important in the minds of most people is the time when Roosevelt divided substantial monopolies into minor separate companies. Unfortunately, not everything that Roosevelt achieved reached its goal. The opposite can be said of Woodrow Wilson who has been seen as one of the worst presidents, especially by people like Ben Shapiro.

Andrew Jackson's presidency was considered by many an American Revolution. By allowing suffrage to the poor, Jackson gained the support of the "common man". This was very important in the election because the common man controlled 75% of the votes. By gaining this support Andrew Jackson became the president of the United States of America. Many U.S. citizens and other people visiting the United States believe that suffrage comes with many pros such as allowing the majority of the country to vote, while others believe that it comes with many cons such as allowing uneducated people to elect the leader of the country.
A murderer, but not a monster. It’s hard to believe that anyone would consider the thought of Nat Turner not being a monster after unsympathetically killing around 50 people. However, gaining some knowledge of the circumstances that were happening during this time in 1828 in Southampton, Virginia may justify the actions of a born slave. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness: a set of qualities promised to all Americans through the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Yet, one could argue that liberty was never an option for a slave in the early 1800s.

Governor Sam Brownback is a republican Governor that was first apart of the house of representatives, then senator from 1996 until 2011 where he was then elected the Governor of Kansas. In 2010-2011 Brownback was elected for his platform of promising Kansans to cut income taxes which in turn would create a well spring of jobs and economic growth. With this plan he tried to prove a small government or “trickle down economics” would work. Now with this there comes the question whether or not Governor Brownback is good or bad for the people and the state of Kansas. Governor Brownback should not remain the governor of Kansas because of his involvement of the economic downturn of Kansas, the considerably large amount of negative effects that have been put on the public school systems of Kansas, and the taxes and employment problems that affect the people of Kansas.
