Transhumanism is an intellectual and cultural campaign that trusts humans can, and ought to, enhance the human condition through artificial technology. One of the center ideas in transhumanists thought process is immortality. Through genetic nanotechnology, engineering human cloning, everlasting life may soon be conceivable. The importance of this field has become very important the field may, soon, expand beyond therapy and its current limitations and in to human enhancement. Immortality will only be offered to the rich. I have this conviction because in present day, a lot of people around the world do die of diseases that while treatable, if you leave in a country where there is no free healthcare, and the sick individual isn’t financial viable to take themselves to good hospitals to get themselves treated they won’t survive. Now our days, the rich seem to live longer because they can afford the best medical service available. Who is to say this won’t be the status quo in the future. Immortality only for the rich

Inequality would cause huge divides between the rich and poor. The world that transhumanism will bring is the one seen in the movie, Elysium. Since overpopulation would become a major problem, they theoretically would attempt solving this problem by letting the poor continue aging but I doubt that would remedy anything. Overpopulation will still prevail. These will set the stage for the the eventual terrorism, protest and riots that will follow and then the break out of war between trans-humans and humans. The Only solution I see here is, we must make immortality available to none.
