How Pseudomonas “Sugar-coats” Itself to Cause Chronic Lung Infection
Introduction- I had two infections, but in the article that I read, it did not discuss how to treat infections, but it discussed how one type of infection- a lung infection- can be caused- by pseudomonas “sugar-coating” themselves.
Point 1- Pseudomonas rarely succeed at causing a chronic lung infection in humans, but there is one exception- cystic fibrosis patients.
Point 2- Pseudomonas sugar-coat themselves in a clever way that allows them to deal with a high-salt form of environmental stress.
Point 3- Pseudomonas have developed a system to control the production of alginate.
Conclusion- A pseudomona is a type of bacterium that “sugar-coats” itself, but rarely succeeds except in cystic fibrosis patients, are clever in what they do, and have developed a system to control the production of alginate.

It seems to be a word that I hear often in our society, and it is not usually a good thing. An infection usually means that something on or in your body is infected. I have had a couple of infections in my life, and they are not fun. One of them was an ear infection, and the other was an eye infection. Both of them had to be treated with care until they got better, such as eye drops and ear drops. I do not know how I got them, but I figure that it must have came from somewhere. I have never had a lung infection, and I do not want one, but I suspect that it must be treated with care too, when someone has one. But in the article that I read, I did not read about how to treat one, but I read about how one can be caused. An example of something causing an infection is that pseudomonas sugar-coat themselves to cause a chronic lung infection in cystic fibrosis patients, are clever in the way they do it, and have developed a system to control the production of
