This is Marina Yudina from Acc3100 class (Tu, Th 9:55). I have an issue with my homework #2 (Bonds) grade. I would appreciate if you could look over it and, if it possible, fix it. In question 1, problem 6: I accidentally put 4,636 instead of 40,636.
Hi Dr. Nyguyn, This is Elizabeth Picciola. I hope things are going well. I am currently in the process of reapplying to medical school and would like to ask you if you would write me a letter of recommendation again?
Your research question is one most nurses have questioned at some point in their career. I have felt the feeling of annoyance and dread when starting my shift and realizing that my elderly patient has an IV that was placed 4 days ago, and per policy it must be changed today. Sticking the patient again for a new IV seems cruel when the old is still functioning correctly. Many times, I have questioned if the benefits really outweigh the risks of starting a new IV simply because the old is expired.
“Poor food, hard lodging, cold weather, fatigue, nasty clothes, nasty cookery, vomit… why are we sent here to starve and freeze?”-Dr. Albigence Waldo “What we know today was not known in late December 1777, victory seemed a long way off; in fact for many, it seemed unlikely.” Had I been a soldier at Valley Forge, would I of given up? If I had the choice, I would have stayed, because of loyalty to our leaders and country, to stay a powerful nation, and for the freedom of me and the people of America. I would have stayed in the war, because I am loyal to our leaders and to America.

Week 9 Chapter 12 focuses on planning before the class. The author mentions that planning can remind teachers what they intend to do during the class, and it is also helpful for class observation. Although class planning is important, sometimes things do not always on the right track. Therefore, teachers have to be flexible and change the plan accordingly. The aim of the plan is to have coherence and variety.

1) Define psychology and trace its historical development. Psychology is the scientific research of the study of the human and animal behavior and mentalities. So in general the study is about how, what and why the human brain functions the way they do. As well as why mental illnesses exist.
Charlotte Buckhold Unit 1 Individual Project PSYC102-1503B-02 August 19, 2015 Cognitive Psychology is the study of mental processes, going beyond the “conscious” and “unconscious” of psychodynamic psychology, delving into the studies of sensation, perception, problem solving, attention, memory, learning and intelligence. Cognitive psychology was born from the dissatisfaction of behavioral psychology, which focuses on the studies of people’s observable behaviors as opposed to ones internal process. Some of the key concepts of cognitive psychology are perception, memory and language. Perception is how someone identifies, interprets and responds to sensory information (i.e. information gathered from our senses). Memory is a person’s ability to record and store information.

NU 413 Week 9 Discussion Board Post student response to Katie-Lynn Fournier by Kathryn Moultrie Good afternoon Kathie, Enjoyed reading your post, and seeing how other organizations handle the operations of their facility and nursing departments. My biggest concern with improving quality care and patient safety issues in that, the responsibility is not ours alone, our Chief Nurse Executives (CNEs) and Director of Nursing (DON), and senior nursing management staffs to lead the journey Disch J. (2008). I find it overwhelming that the majority of the research literature (studies, surveys and reports believe nursing plays the pivotal role in changing the face of health care and improving quality care and patient safety.

Psychology is defined as “the scientific study of the mind and behavior” (Introduction to Psychology, 2015). Psychology provides an overview of biology and behavior, sensation and perception, learning, memory, intelligence, language, motivation, emotion, abnormal psychology, and therapy (PSY 102 Course Syllabus, 2018, pg 1). Because psychology allows for a better understanding of how the mind and body work, this knowledge can be beneficial for any field of study or career. The theoretical and practical understanding of the basics of psychology can help with decision-making, critical thinking, stress management, time management, better understanding of others, improving communication, and even achieving goals and objectives, all components that allow someone to be more successful throughout their life. Throughout this course I hope to gain a greater understanding of historical and theoretical perspectives of human behavior and development (PSY 102 Course Syllabus, 2018, pg 2).
