Panic hit my parents. It 's senior year, I just got accepted into UW Tacoma and they see the tuition fees. They were already in shock when they had seen my Application Fee was 70 dollars. Since we are residents of Washington my tuition fee is even higher; being about 5 thousand dollars more; the estimated tuition fees for nonresidents costs $34,791, not even counting the cost of living and supplies. The estimated costs to live on campus is $11,962 per year, which still doesn 't count the costs of food; which the estimated cost of food per year is $512 but, that is just for a meal card for their cafeteria not even counting outside expenses.
A. Business Concept Instead of scheduling the traditional four 15 week courses that meet 3 hours a week each, I would offer courses in one month intervals. This would consist of one class meeting for three weeks at three hours a day, five days a week and the fourth week being considered a transitional break. The fourth week would not be considered a “finals” week. Any required final exam would need to be taken on the third Friday of the course (the last class day) during the normal class period. This would leave the transition week open for teachers to input final grades.
Week two has been a little more challenging versus week one. I was tempted with sweet tea several times which has made it more difficult. I truly expected it to be easier because I thought after the first week my body would start to adapt without the caffeine from sweet tea. This is not how I expected the assignment to go. I honestly thought I would not have any issues or have any withdrawal symptoms.

The study will have an experimental design involving groups of three people, two of which will be told beforehand about what the experiment will be about. Subjects will be analyzed in a classroom setting where familiar people will interact with them. This will help subjects feel more comfortable and allow us to observe whether or not they fall into peer pressure when under their element. The comparing value will be their age and grade. The dependent variable will be how well the subject can follow instructions.
The Week 4 assignments are addressed on how to use the observational tools in order to evaluate the development and create the activities that promote young children 's development. For example, assignment 4.3 Running Record is one of useful observational tools that educators can use. It requires sensitive observation and writing skills in order to collect detailed information. By using the running record, educator can use the data to evaluate the development of the child and create helpful activities that will help the development of the child.
In order to achieve this goal, I will take the following steps or I would take the following actions. Action 1) identifying the pressures that have been created: pressure situations have an indirect and direct Impact on both yourself and your surroundings. The most common signs of a person whom is pressured/ stressed are firstly an individual may develop a loss of interest in his or her work, have trouble concentrating or is socially withdrawn from a group with a group situation or the individual becomes anti-social (Mortillaro & Scherer, 2014). I will need to utilise my ability to allocate time within my days off and lunch breaks at work to identify any issues that may arise within my Co-operative Education at Ogilvy and Mather.
Week 3 Practice Problems 1. The class handout cites 3 basic purposes for studying statistics: data reduction, inference, and identification of relationships. In your own words, describe these three ideas in a couple of sentences each. Why do we study statistics? We study statistics for 3 reasons below: Data Reduction:
Upon discovering the advertising industry through the American Advertising Federation Medgar Evers College Chapter, where I served as the Treasurer and Strategic Planner, I fortunately landed my first internship with the Omnicom Medgar Evers College Associates program where I was placed at DDB Worldwide as an account management on the State Farm account. Landing such an opportunity has reinforced my belief that advertising is an arena where I can challenge myself through critical thinking, creativity and innovation. Thus, I went on to applying to the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Internship Program and was placed at Grey Group New York, providing account management support to the Hasbro Boys team. These two internships have given me an excellent opportunity to apply and enhance my prior academic and industry experience while learning from fellow interns as I establish a solid
I have developed leadership qualities when my Tae Kwon Do coach trusted me to lead our team during national championships. This has led me to then hold various leadership positions in undergraduate and dental school clubs. Moreover, my critical thinking abilities have excelled from being a mathematics and physics tutor. Tutoring has always challenged me to think outside the box in complicated problems, and this would allow me to use my creative skills when facing complex cases in my field. Persistence is another key element that is crucial in success.
I am not sure how I am going to use the feedback from week four, I honestly am nervous about my paper but I am taking everything I have learned and using it to work on my paper, I plan to make sure my paper is not straying off topic and is a great ideal paper. I am carefully using the checkers the school has to offer to make sure everything is at best standard.
Any good program needs a strong leadership team, and I have always wanted to be a good leader because I love helping others be their very best. In our marching band program our section leaders are called FOG (For Others Greatness), they are chosen not only for their musicality but also for their ability to work with and guide others. The section leaders during my freshman year were incredible and I longed to be just like them when I was finally able to apply and audition for the position. I am on the color guard and do not play an instrument during the marching season, therefore my color guard skills would need to be at an elevated level in comparison to those of my peers. As the audition portion of the application came about I worked incredibly
This week we learned about how to keep respect for ourselves and for each other. We learned that chastity is respecting sex as a gift for your spouse. The speaker shared with us her own life story and we learned that she was a teen parent herself and that she had gone through some rough times. She shared with us that she was a teen mom and that before she engaged in sexual behavior, she was an honors student and she was focused on what was important but then after engaging in sexual behavior, she saw her grades drop drastically and she started to not care about the important things in life anymore.
In the past, I was the treasurer for my high school’s DECA club and I was also in charge of running my high school’s store. Last winter I became part of Merrimack’s Orientation staff, which I believe shows student leadership because I was responsible for helping the incoming freshmen acclimate to college and become responsible individuals. Being an Orientation staff member required a lot of professionalism because we were in charge of making sure we were always on time for events and respectful to the presenters and each other. Last spring, I was hired at Shaw’s Supermarket and I have recently been promoted to work in the Customer Service Desk. I believe my position shows leadership outside of campus because I am responsible for making sure
