In American Sniper Navy S.E.A.L. sniper Chris Kyle defined himself as one of the deadliest marksmen in U.S. military history. After he served four tours in the Iraq War, Kyle began his battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). He began working with veterans who were experiencing the same illness. While helping others with PTSD, Kyle was killed by a veteran who could not overcome his disorder. American Sniper depicts the struggles of military men in battle and at home. After serving time in battlefields, many veterans and current personnel suffer PTSD, but are unable to overcome it.
