There was no life-changing event or catastrophic injury that ignited my passion for medicine. It started out as an interest that grew as I grew. Through volunteering in the healthcare field as well as leadership at my university, I was able to eventually put into words why I so dearly wanted to devote my life to medicine; simply impact and leadership. My interest in becoming a physician was always there, I loved the idea of being able to apply my scientific knowledge to help heal people.
As a medical assistant we have much responsibilities in the medical office. When it comes to physical therapy and rehabilitation we have a few different roles to do. Personal Statement Many pairs of eyes stared at me, while I gave my first speech at the Sikh Temple of Riverside, on the Massacre of 1984 event that took place in Punjab, India. The speech was based upon a book that I read at my Sunday school while I was in high school, which described the 1984 genocide of Sikhs in India, by anti-Sikh mobs, most notable members of the government, in response to the assassination of Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards. Thousands of people were displaced in the massacre and many mothers lost their sons and husbands in these riots. However, till this present day the Government of India has still not actively prosecuted and punished those responsible for the mass killings, and many mothers are still waiting for their sons to return after many years because they don’t if they are dead or missing. This book gave me an insight to the
Medical Assisting Being a wife and mother of three; I decided that I would return to school to better myself and my family. Mostly to get out and be around people and to help in my community. When researching about medical assisting the article informed me about the future jobs and pay of medical assistants. Medical assistants complete administrative and clinical tasks in the offices of physicians, podiatrist, chiropractors and other health practitioners. Medical assistant duties vary within location, specialty and size of the practice.
My initial impetus and foundation for becoming a preventive medicine physician began as a behavior analyst, serving children and teens with various developmental disorders in NY and MA. Working closely with individuals and groups as a case manager motivated me to become a medical assistant, exposing me to complex cases and clarifying my desire to reduce rural health disparities - ultimately leading me to become a physician. A multidisciplinary approach and comprehensive continuity of care is at the core of what I believe preventative medicine offers; utilizing my extensive knowledge of lobbying and rural health disparities, I feel I can make meaningful impacts on patient outcomes within outpatient-centric, rural underserved areas. I am committed
Medical college personal statement writing without a reasonable topics and structure won't pull your reader in; it will exhaust them and push them away. Medical college personal statement writing don't drift endlessly hopping starting with one subject then onto the next. Rather, they revolve their personal statement writing around one focal topic. My desire to practice medicine comes directly from my determination to provide healthcare access to underserved communities such as the one that I was raised in. My mission is to bring access to these areas by providing quality primary care while improving the quality of life. I believe that everyone has the right to health and I have witnessed how a lack of medical guidance can lower a community’s quality of life. In high school, I was able to take a few classes where I was exposed to medicine, science, and research. As I continued to explore the field, my passion to learn more about medicine has continued to grow.
What Motivates Me to Pursue a Career in Medicine and What Attracts me to the UMKC six year Medical Program? My main motivation towards pursuing a career in medicine is my friend Russel who suffers from a severe medical condition that requires chemotherapy and home treatment regimens. I have been his bestfriend since kindergarten and, as such, I always accompany him whenever possible when he goes to the hospital for treatment or help him in whatever way that I can at home or at school. It is this constant exposure to the field of medicine as well as my desire to help my friend in overcoming his disease that initially motivated me towards a career as a doctor (Paolino 14).
I want to be a physician because I want people to grow old. At the age of 6, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with leukemia. By age 8, the disease claimed his life, robbing him of the opportunity to experience the privilege of growing old. Unfortunately, we live in a society of vanity. We see the process of aging and choose not to embrace it.

Pre-med students always have an experience that sparked their initial interest in medicine. For me, it was caring for my mother during the onset of new medical conditions and being a medical aide for my grandfather before he passed away. Two years ago, when I sat down to write my medical school personal statement, this was my story. However, as I wrote and reflected on my experiences, I knew I was interested in medicine, but I couldn't answer the question of why specifically, medical school? Were my experiences enough to drive me through the next eight-plus years of rigorous academic studies?
I’m going to college to become a doctor because I have dreamed of knowing what it feels like to save a person’s life. I remember being a kid and having my dad point out the things I’ll be able to buy when I become a doctor and telling me that I will have to
Many people think about college everyday. Right now I am surrounded by my classmates all thinking about the same thing. Where do I want to go? Do I even want to go? How do I get started?
Like most of my colleagues, I entered medical school uncertain of a speciality choice. The idea of choosing just one practice of interest was challenging. In the midst of the uncertainty surrounding my decision I looked to the guidance of my family. I have been very fortunate to have the constancy of a loving family who provide great support, encourage personal growth, and nurture both my intellectual curiosity and affable spirit. I look back at the hardships we have taken on.
One of my future goals and the most important one is to become a doctor. It is my life dream, and the only thing I am seeking for. Doctor is someone capable to save and help others life in ways that are not possible in other careers. Being a doctor for me is not just like any job, it is achieving a dream I have since I was 6 years old. One of the main reasons I picked this major is my family; my family members are almost all doctors, and my dad too.
