Long ago, before America was the great country she is now, she was one of the many children of the great Queen Britain. Although she was the most talented of all her siblings, America cared much more about compassion and justice than she did entertainment and fame. In fact, she despised fame with great fervour. But, unlike her daughter, Queen Britain did absolutely anything for attention. She loved fame, and wanted to the whole world to know her name. She knew that with fame came great power and that was exactly what she was wishing for. One day, a god named Miss Universe came to visit. He walked up to her and asked her why she wasn’t sending any of her beautiful children to the pageant, surely with the talents that her children had they could surely win. He lied and told her that the special prize for the pageant was great fame (All of what he said was lies, the pageant was actually just for gods and the prize was a new gift from Apollo that could only be given to those who lived on Olympus) “What about your daughter America,” He asked, “Surely a beauty like her could easily take the crown with her wonder talents.” At first, the Queen didn’t want the upset such an important guest like the Miss Universe by trying to win a pageant she was entering, but the more she listened to Republican, the more she forgot her worries. Soon, she felt herself planning exactly how she would win the prize, and she knew exactly how to convince her daughter to join the pageant. She went to America--who was too busy to go to the party because she was planning what her next big battle for justice would be-- and asked her daughter to please join the pageant, “This could be our chance to gain more fame and power,” She said. America declined and told her mother there were more important things in the world.
