Queen Elizabeth I Queen Elizabeth I was born September 7, 1533. She was the Queen of England at the age of 25 during the period 1558-1603. She was the queen for 44 years and gave it up when she passed away March 24, 1603. During her time of being queen, she made many great changes to England. She is well looked up to and people know her as the greatest queen of England of all time. She never got married and ruled all of England by herself. Elizabeth I is very courageous, strong, loyal, and had respect for her people. Elizabeth I was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, the second of the six wives. Anne was beheaded before Elizabeth reached the age of three and King Henry paid little attention to her. She was sent away to a house in the country while she was taught school from her excellent tutors. She loved learning and was taught a total of 5 languages which include Greek, French, Latin, Italian, and English. When Elizabeth I was 25 years old, she became the Queen of England.
