It was clear that McCandless was ill-prepared for many of the situations that he was presented with throughout his adventure to Alaska. McCandless was very passionate about pursuing his dreams to live off the land. Although, if he wanted to survive long enough to enjoy living in one of the most harshest environments on earth, it would have only made sense that he carefully planned out every detail of his trip to prevent him from dying. However on the contrary, it was as if he had no plans or strategies to prevent this from happening. The ultimate sacrifice McCandless paid from unpreparedness was death.
Finally, the police were concerned of what the problem was so they stopped by and found Vanessa’s body and dead on the floor with a head injury. My report will show that Vanessa's husband was there earlier that day, but there’s a weapon that must have been used against Vanessa's head because there was scratchy like marks on the phone. There was plates on the ground broken, the pan was on the floor by the broken dish far away from Vanessa's body. A wine bottle was knocked over and was tipped to it’s side pouring out from the bottle. A rule was there’s a flower type of suitcase already packed and ready to go that day.

How does one live a life as a Christian that honors and glorifies God? The answer is by reflecting Christ’s image by acting as He would in every situation. Because of what Jesus has done for sinners on the cross, they desire to live by His example in order to give Him glory. However, living a Christ-like life can only happen through the work of the Holy Spirit, who comes in to sinner’s hearts when they first put their trust in Jesus and the cross, growing them and making them more like Jesus. Many characters in books, stories, and movies have Christ-like qualities and characteristics, an example of this being Harper Lee’s masterpiece.
