Here, there are places to stay healthy , jobs to become wealthy , and places that paint a picture history. Fairfield County is located in South Carolina whose county seat is Winnsboro SC. Fairfield County was formed in 1777 .It was laid out and chartered by Richard Winn , John Winn , and John Vanderhorst. Other towns in Fairfield include Ridgeway, Blair and Jenkinsville. The county was allegedly named by General Cornwallis, when he stated “How fair these fields”, but several years before the revolutionary, Richard Winn visited and resided here. With all the different organized activities , our county of Fairfield is very very fun and exciting . Even though we have a small school district we continue to improve test scores every when we take the P.A.S.S. I couldn’t think of any other city or town that is better than Fairfield County South Carolina. Our county has done a great job of giving us the necessities that we need.
