Unlike humans animals have an instinct for survival that overcomes any other emotions or situations but when put in a dangerous situation that is life or death humans will revert back to these primal instincts.Life of pi describes the dangerous journey of a young boy who must rely on those natural instincts to survive. Pi patel was a young boy from India who lived with his father, mother, and brother in a zoo. Pi’s was deeply fascinated with animals but his other fascination was religion and it would be his faith that got him through his hardship as when the family decides to head to canada their ship sinks on the way there.
