Mean, scary, loud, annoying, amazing, talented, and helpful. These words are just some of many that describe the chef Gordon Ramsay. Those who claim Ramsay a untalented, and disrespectful person usually are asking him for help, but they deny his superiority and years in the business based on their own stubbornness, so they choose not to accept his help. Those who look past Ramsay's inappropriate domineer can see that he is a passionate, talented, and helpful chef who deserves respect among many, based on his years in the culinary arts. Chef Gordon Ramsay is well known amongst the cooking community, but he is most renowned around the world as the high-tempered celebrity host on the many TV shows that he has.
Emilia Lanyer’s poem “The Description of Cooke-ham” is titled as if it is a pastoral ode praising the estate Cooke-ham. However, upon reading the poem, one quickly realizes that the true subject is actually Lanyer’s patroness, with whom Emilia stayed at Cooke-ham for some time. While the poem does describe, in detail, the beautiful natural scenery at Cooke-ham, it does so always in reference to this woman. Lanyer never names the subject by name, instead referring to her primarily in second person, though it is assumed that the subject is in fact her patroness, Margaret Clifford, Countess of Cumberland.

One of the themes I found for both films “Ratatouille” and “Burnt” was Women in the professional kitchen. The reason why I chose “Women in the professional kitchen” is because both movies show the actions, behaviors and skills of how a female works to reach their goals in their everyday life. Female chefs in the movie are Helene and Collette. They share similar ideas once by working with collages in the kitchen.
New recipes for hibachi, fondue, quiche, crepes and the most recent addition salsas, were added to her mother’s recipe box. These foods indicate how far she has come from the traditions of her southern hometown. Additionally, she describes how cooking isn’t solely controlled by women but to men as well in the 21st century. The chapter provides a stark between the conventional housewife and the new aged husband who shares the responsibility of cooking. The starts the comparison by describing the image of her mother waiting for her father to come home from work every day.
For my groups project, we focused on writing technology and its affect on the way that we communicate and get our message across to one another. For my audience and genre work, I wanted to focus even more on my topic and speak on the affect of writing technology such as the computer and the internets affect on how chefs may blog to get out their work and recipes to the public. I chose to focus on young chef bloggers for my specific research because of my friends. I believe that this topic has exigence, a cause that someone may advocate, as well as Kairos, something that makes a topic relevant to individuals now. I have a few friends who are chefs and are trying to grow and develop their brand.
