Racism has changed in the United States of America since the 1900’s. Whether You support it or not, whether you participate in it or not, it’s there and it’s still a problem. It isn’t nearly as severe as it used to be, but it’s still present, and that in itself is not okay. The definition of racism I will be using today is, “A group of people feeling superior to another group of people, because of their race, sexuality, etc.” Racism has been alive throughout all of history, of the worst versions being slavery. Luckily, slavery was legally abolished in 1865. Though, we weren’t as lucky with other forms of racism, as they are still happening today. The first type of racism I will be discussing is the racism that took place in the 1930’s.
