Twenty years have passed since the murder of 6 year old JonBenet Ramsey. On December 26, 1996 Patsy Ramsey (JonBenet’s mother) called the police to tell her child was missing. The police arrived moments later and found a panicked family and family friends. Police told the Family to search the house top to bottom to find evidence. John Ramsey came back moments later with Jon’s dead body. Earlier that morning patsy had found a ransom note on the stairs. Which had police thinking there was an intruder who killed Jon. They also found a broken window that was halfway open and a briefcase which was going to be used to carry Jon's body. Then they tried to hang up the phone and most families would have stayed on until the police arrived. Then when the police arrived the Ramseys had invited friends over. That made Dna everywhere. The person who was left to stay with the family was a rookie and she told them to search the house from top to bottom to see if they could find something. John suspiciously went straight to the body. Reports claimed that John said he spotted the body before he even turned the light on in the basement. It would have been very dark down there and he would have just saw a blanket and could not have told if it was a body or not.
The family told their friends and neighbors not to talk to the police out of respect. Then they go and do a interview on Cnn. They also had some inconsistencies with what they said during the interview. Like they said they were cooperating with the police. The police said they wouldn't let them search the house or do interviews with them. The police also would not interview the 911 operator who could have turned the whole case around. Also they said Burke was asleep when he was right next to them when they called the operator. Then they said they assumed he was sleep later
