The difference between marketing a product and a service are as follows:
- When you are marketing products you give customers a delivery date estimate if they are ordering online or through the mail and they can walk out the door with the product in hand and if they buy in your brick and mortar store. Services must be created after they are ordered and delivery times will vary. The challenge with marketing services is that Reelly Good Cinema will have to convince customers they can and will deliver quality results within a given period of time. Usually servicing marketing materials have testimonials and case studies from other satisfied clients that work to prove you are able to deliver on the promises in your marketing materials.

You do not own the seat or the movie after the movie is complete while in product customers who buy film related merchandise at Reelly Cinema now own it as their property.When purchasing a service you cannot touch it, see it, smell it, test it or taste it prior to the purchase. This makes it more difficult and more risky for the client when deciding whether to purchase the product or not. The service provider has to overcome this perceived risk and try to make the service seem more 'tangible'. Evidence of the service and its quality needs to be given to the client.
