Throughout my time in high school, one of the things that intrigued me is that our ASB lacked communication. Even when I was in ASB, I tried to strengthen the communication, but it had little effect, since I was the only one. When I ran for ASB president, my campaign centered around strengthening the lines of communications so everyone could be satisfied. Although I lost this election by about ten votes, I still strongly advocate for good communication. It is important for ASI to communicate their message so the student body can respond.

I have taken away many useful strategies and information from the College 101 class I took this summer. This course has given me enough information to help me feel confident that I will be successful in the rest of my highschool experience and my future college experience. This course has given me skills that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Learning to study properly, avoid procrastination, and take notes correctly has been something that has already helped me tremendously. It has helped me feel less stressed on a day-to-day basis as well as improving my school work quality.
During my senior year at federal way high school I was allowed to participate in the running start program at Highline Community College. Although I was only in the program for one quarter I continued attending Highline for another six quarters. Regretfully I also began to work and soon started to fail my classes. So I decided to work full time and put my education on hold for the time. After working a few different places and being laid off I soon decided it was time to look toward my future.
In this class I have learned multiple things about the economy. How the economy functions. What our society evolves around and much more. But most of all I have a better grasp on how stocks function. Stocks are goods or merchandise kept on the premises of a business or warehouse and available for sale or distribution.
I am an immigrant in the United States, so everyday my writing and speaking in English is always an important challenge for me during working and studying. Writing and speaking in English help me not only for my socializing and working but also for my teaching and raising the kids in the U.S. Moreover, I do not want to stop my challenge, so I have decided to go back to school to continue my graduate program at CSUS. Then, this English 220W course is so important for me to improve my writing in the discipline as my graduate project in the future. During the course of this semester, I feel that I have grown substantially as a writer. I think that I could improve even more with practice as well as using a few resources. This class has helped me drastically by improving my writing structure but I think it could have been even better if I had spent my time more efficiently. Overall this class has been very beneficial to me and I think it will really help me in the future. When I started this class I took a completely different approach to writing a paper.

At the end of my sophomore year, I received my first pamphlet for Franklin University. The pamphlet encompassed everything I’ve ever wanted for my education: a diverse student body, a multicultural learning experience, exchange programs, and teachings that reach beyond the classroom. Even now the pamphlet is pinned to my wall, and every time I look up to it, I think this is the place where I want to be for the next few years of my life. I’ve always been a student interested in learning about other cultures, traveling around the world, and expanding my perspective is of deep importance to me as a person. Franklin would be the ideal place for me to continue with this goal since Franklin offers those opportunities.
This class was overall fun and informative. I am glad that I took this
