Refugees should not be allowed to enter Australia, Australia should not accept any more refugees. A refugee is a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, natural disaster or persecution.

Due to the fact that refugees create finical havoc for Australian tax payers, cause social disgrace and impact health risks I therefore believe refugees should not be allowed to enter Australia.

When participating in a debate one of the main focuses is to rebut the opposing teams arguments I am not in a position to do this considering none of 1st speaker affirmatives points are adequate.

Refugees are people and so are Australians, so are Americans and so are Asians. Why not bother them instead. These people pass countries on the way to Australia so why not stop there.

Although war, natural disaster and persecution are awful circumstances to be involved in Australia needs to put its own people first.

According to Social Policy Research Centre at the University of New South Wales 11.1% of Australians are under the austere poverty line 412,000 of those being children. How are we letting unidentified, visa less foreigners into our country without their own contribution to our community? If we chose to accept a certain amount of refugees then what is stopping us from accepting them all? Is it money? Is it space? Why not accept them
