Giving patients medicine makes them feel better but also makes the nurse feel better to be nice and care for patients and to know they are making a difference in someone's life by showing they care. “Nurses spend much of the day on their feet, either walking or standing. Handling patients who are ill or infirm can also be very exhausting” (“Registered Nurses” 165). It's mostly common sense that nurses do not have much sit down time especially if it's a busy day or not. Nurses work really hard to make patients better so they do everything they can to make that possible, including staying on their feet for as long as they have to. “It’s sometimes pretty challenging to get to everyone that needs assistance especially when you’re busy and needed everywhere at once” (“Martindale Personal Interview”). Sometimes it depends on what type of nurse one is that determines how busy one gets. Also, depending on what type of nursing one wants to get into one might have to travel different places and a different environment. “Community health nurses may be required to visit homes that are in poor condition or very dirty. They may also come in contact with social problems, such as family violence. The nurse is an important health care provider and in many communities the sole provider”(“Registered Nurses” 166). No matter what condition of the work environment nurses are always expected to provide the proper health care they are entitled to
