The relation ship between the settlers and the Natives weren't just about warefare. THough, their relationship didn't start off great and didn't end with making amends. Nonetheless there was more to their relationship. They ha negotiations, tradings, they even exchange about some information that they learned. The natives inititial responce ot the ssettlers arrival was hostility. THey even attacked one of the english ships before it even landed, but soon their relationship changed after the settlers were in the time of difficulty. The indians offered food and hospitality but then Jhon Smith decided that their hospitality was not needed and thus worsening teh relationship between the Indians and the Settlers. Since the Indiands were rejected and the Settlers were taking over their land the Natives changed their feelings about the Natives from useful to problematic and decided to attack.
