My essay revolves around religious freedom and rights and how is religious freedom an important right. Overall, I have always found religion a touchy but interesting topic. Even today many communities go to such lengths to do something “Holy” for their God believing that by doing so it will cleanse them of their sins or that it had been stated by God himself. Although this idea may seem far stretched for us, however, the people of the medieval ages viewed this as logical, and that it was a duty and an honor to serve. This resulted in many religious wars between different religions. All because of the belief that there should only be one religion and everyone must either die or follow along. Throughout history, humans have written many papers dedicated to the different rights we’ve written throughout history, which includes human rights, religious rights, woman’s rights and child labor rights, and even had debates regarding some of the most controversial ideas of the documents that issued these rights. Today, we have different kinds of rights as a free citizen of a free society and these rights differ from country to country. What’s more, this doesn’t just apply to religious people, it could also be applied to those who want to switch from one religion into another. Everyone being able to socialize knowing that I could believe in whatever I want and no one can force me to believe in what they believe makes it easier for everyone to collaborate with each other. This would benefit the country’s economy and the citizens in it, which means that rather than going against one another, trying to conquer and kill believers of other religions, we would work with them. Collaborating with a diverse group of people could give us a different perspective on how we run things in the nation, or just how we accomplish our tasks. Their way of working and
