Remember The Titans All aspects of the health triangle were presented throughout this movie. The emotional part was presented by having the football team trust each other. Since a large part of the movie was focused on football, physical was the main aspect shown in the movie. An example would be when when the team practiced together. The social aspect was also presented many times throughout the movie. An example would be when both races had to get to know each other. They didn’t trust each other at first, but with communication, they began to. Trust, respect, patience and tolerance are four keys to building a healthy relationship.. Two characters examples from this movie would be Gary and Julius. Their trust, respect, patience, and tolerance for each other changed a lot. In the beginning, Gary didn’t show any respect for any of the blacks (especially Julius). In the end, Gary and Julius learned to respect each other. Their trust in each other changed as well. Gary and Julius didn’t trust each other enough to make specific decisions, but in the end, that changed. Their patience and tolerance changed the most. When the races joined within the school, parents stood outside to protest (hate). The head coach of the football team didn’t trust the head coach from the black school to become head coach. He gave him a hard time, but they eventually decided to separately coach the defense and offense. (prejudism) Another example was when a few kids threw a brick into Coach Boon’s window. (violence.) Even today, violence, hate and prejudism are still problem in society. I think this is still problem because it’s in everyone’s nature to automatically judge.
