The cliche jokes and scenes watered down the interesting movie. The Renaissance Man isn’t a great movie, not a classic, though it has some valuable attributes. The opening was nice, it sets the tone and the environment for the rest of the movie and the scenes to come. The film does a ok job introducing the characters, some of them were cheesy though, but when Mr. Bill Rago finds his calling the film ameliorates into a middling movie. There is strong imagery in the movie.

As a child I had always been a lover of History , and being stationed in Europe fed into those loves Fortunately for me, those times in Europe were life changing. I was able to travel to Bruges Belgium twice, twenty years apart and was amazed on both occasions.
