The recent eruption of Mount Barujari in Bali, Indonesia on the island of Javi has led to the evacuation of over 1,100 citizens, and the search for 389 foreign tourists. Although no injuries have been reported so far, the disaster damaged over 3,500 meters near where it occurred. The incident closed several airports in the area, stranding a ton of people. It troubled Australians and Islamics the most because the Australians were rushing to travel while schools were on break, and the Islamics were celebrating Ramadan. In brief, the volcanic eruption of Mount Barujari in Java, Indonesia, lead to the evacuation and search of thousands, and cancellation of over one hundred thousand flights.
48,000 soldiers died during the month long battle of Iwo Jima. The battle of Iwo Jima was a pivotal battle between America and Japan. The battle is also where the Navajo marines got their recognition.. This battle was also very crucial because Japan would have a really big island conquered and we would have lost 26,000 Americans for nothing.
Having been born and bred outside the United States, the city I grew up was more influenced by the people of India rather than Native people. Therefore, I began to search the Internet for Native tribes where I came across the Duwamish tribe. The Duwamish tribe lived in Seattle, Washington from the past 10,000 years, making them one of the oldest Native tribes that we know of in the entire world. Today, the Duwamish tribe are one of the few federally recognised Native tribes. In this research project I intend to gain a better understanding as to how a Native tribe that has existed since the glacier age has escaped being eradicated through both wars and disease.

My topic was the Paiute Indians, they lived in the southwestern Great Basin region. Paiute men went hunting out for food in groups. The Paiutes raised their own fruits and vegetables. Paiute groups got together in autumn for marriages and dances. They lived in the Great Basin region.

Off of an island of Japan, many landing crafts wash ashore dropping the doors as seventy thousand United States Marines storm the beaches while being shot at by eighteen thousand Japanese soldiers. This is the battle of Iwo Jima which occurred on Feb 19, 1945 and ended on Mar 26, 1945. The island of Iwo Jima is like a paradise island with clear water and golden-white beaches, pretty trees of different kinds and of course a tall mountain called Mount Suribachi. Back in 1945, the trees were blown to ashes and the beaches were red along with the water as the soldiers tried to take cover.

I am very sorry but I will not be able to visit you in North America for quite sometime, because I will be on the Hawaiian Islands for at least 3 more years. These past 10 months away have been quite enjoyable. There are groves of coconut trees spiraled up and interlaced which looked like concrete pillars. I especially adore the crisp salty sensation in the air and the aquamarine clear ocean which looks like glass. The homes that the Hawaiians live in were simple they are made from dry grass and long thick sticks.
