Charles Lindbergh became prominently known as a daredevil after he made the first solo trip across the Atlantic Ocean.
Superstorm Sandy Superstorm Sandy devastated almost all of the eastern seaboard and parts of Cuba. The hurricane started as a normal tropical storm over the warm waters near the equator (Pacific and Atlantic oceans). Then began to spin counterclockwise and form into a hurricane. The hurricane was given a category one rating on October 23, 2012.Even though the hurricane did not touch the Dominican Republic it still dumped twenty inches of rain in Hispaniola. Over fifty people died from flooding and mudslides.
In the summer of 1947, there was a day that caused a lot of speculation and hysteria in Roswell, a city in New Mexico. On that day, June 14th, 1947, an unknown object crash-landed into a ranch in the city of Roswell, New Mexico, leaving a huge amount of debris. There were many people that did not know what to make of this, and asked themselves, “Was that an alien crash or was it something else?” Many people claimed that it was from an unidentified flying object, or UFO, but others believe it is something less interesting. However, the hype of the incident was silenced until 1979 after the U.S. government officially declared that the debris was nothing more than the debris of a weather balloon.

When they returned, their twelve airplane fleet only consisted of seven planes. A rescue plane sent to find them also vanished. These mysterious disappearances began to shape the myth of the Bermuda Triangle.

I have always enjoyed exploring the world, but the adventure that always sticks out the most was my cruise to the tropical paradise of Bermuda. I have cruised to the Bahamas, as well as spent countless weeks of my lifetime in the Outer Banks. The cruise to Bermuda was only my second time out of the country, leaving from Baltimore, Maryland one Friday afternoon and arriving on the shores of the tropical island on Sunday afternoon. Waking up on a Saturday in the beginning of August and being able to look out the window and seeing water for as far as you can see is a one time thing and an experience like no other. The days spent traveling the open seas, gives you the chance to live life while leaving all of your baggage back on shore.
