Charles Lindbergh Jr was stolen from his house between eight and twelve pm on March 1st, 1932. Later that night, he was hit on the forcefully hit on the head, fracturing both sides of his skull and killing him instantly. Lindbergh Jr was murdered by his father, Charles Lindbergh. The Kidnapping shocked the world and made people realize that at any time they could be the victim of a violent crime. The police investigated and after two years of trying to find leads finally zeroed in on Bruno Richard Hauptmann he was arrested for the crime. However, the whole kidnapping had been a hoax, Charles Lindbergh had stolen then murdered his son because of he had rickets and other physical disabilities. As Bruno said in his trial, Isidor Fisch had given him the money, and asked him to keep it for him until he got back from Germany. Isidor had the money, because he posed as the kidnapper of Charlie in exchange for it. Then, while Isidor was in Germany and the trial of Hauptmann was starting, Lindbergh arranged for a faked death of Isidor Fisch in Germany so he could not be questioned by the police. As most people would do, Bruno started spending the money that Isidor Fisch had given him and was arrested by the police for the murder. Another reason Hauptmann was falsely convicted of a crime he did not help with was the case of the ladder. Isidor Fisch, Bruno's friend borrowed the ladder from him. The family moved to Germany saying they couldn’t stand all the questions. While in Germany Lindbergh was a strong supporter of the Nazi’s because of their eugenic beliefs, Eugenics is breeding the best of people like the most beautiful, smartest and strongest to create a higher race of humans and weeding out the more imperfect people, the same reason Lindbergh killed his son. Charlie had rickets, a physical disease that makes your legs bend inwards severely and had some type of abnormality on his head. This would be a sign that Charlie had inferior genes, therefore making either Anne or Lindbergh himself look bad.
