Science and religion are often thought to contradict each other, in fact, they can support each other. While some people view the Eucharist as symbolic, there is strong evidence to suggest it truly is the Body of Christ. "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him" (Jn 6:56).What is the Eucharist and why is it so important to Catholics? What does it mean? As priest was almost done distributing Holy Communion whilst celebrating mass, it was brought to his attention by a woman that there was a host on a candleholder. The priest placed it in water and stored it in the tabernacle. Eight days later, when the priest opened the tabernacle, he noticed that the Host had turned into bloodied flesh.
