Imagine describing yourself as the “most cold-hearted son of a bitch you’ll ever meet.” Infamous serial killer Ted Bundy said this about himself during one of his interviews. Bundy was known to kill women, specifically those who resembled his first love. With his crimes occurring over the years of 1974 to 1978, he admitted to killing 36 women, however it is believed that he slaughtered over hundreds of women that were left with no admission. This man was an appealing psychopath, women fell in love with him behind the screens and believed that he was not the one responsible for the murders because they found him to be so attractive and swooned over his presence. The paper began with the time frame of his killings and when his last murder took place, what states they happened in and what types of crimes that were committed, such as aggravated assault, attempt of kidnapping, and 1st degree murder. It also went further in detail by saying who investigated the cases, what people were involved specifically, the background of Bundy’s life as whole and what people believe lead him to commit such gruesome crimes, and what made him so famous. Lastly, the paper discussed whether or not the cases of these young women were solved. The credibility, or ethos, was through the sources of the content, with various websites used to find all the information and facts that were put into the paper. The emotion, or pathos comes from the emotion one would feel when hearing how many women were slaughtered by Bundy, as most would feel disgusted by reading such. The logos come from the way that she referenced different articles and compared the information she would find from those articles so the audience could get different perspectives and statistics. This paper also happened to be a thesis driven essay, structuring it how she normally would with how she was taught through high school, with the basic 5 paragraphs and written in MLA
