In November, 1863, he enlisted in the Confederate Army as a lieutenant colonel. He served under John B. Magruder and as a personal assistant or aide-de-camp to Jefferson Davis in August 1864. Lubbock was in-charge of troop transportation and bringing supplies for the Red River operations. Jefferson and Davis traveled to Richmond to help with the war west of the Mississippi. Lubbock was an expert on the trans-Mississippi department and was able to provide Davis with first-hand information on the attack.

A survivor is a person who survives, especially a person remaining alive after an event in which other have died or a person who copes well with difficulties in their life. Three important traits to be a survivor are stamina, logic, and bravery. {Olivia} First of all, in the story Trapped the main character, Aron Ralston uses stamina during his hike in Blue John Canyon when a boulder crushes his arm.

After college Chris Mccandless separates himself from his family and he goes into the alaskan wilderness to live alone. Chris Mccandless denies a car that his parents offered him and before he went into the wilderness he burned all of his cash in his wallet before he went into the wilderness. Chris Mccandless separates himself from his family, he doesn’t accept any gifts, and he has a conflict with everything around him.
A leader is someone who takes charge when it matters the most. Even when the odds are completely against them they push on to reach their goal. The person I believe is a great leader is Wardell Stephen Curry II. Stephen Curry dreamed of going to the NBA and be just like his dad Dell Curry.
