I'm sorry for not writing this in Spanish but I think I can only express this in English. I would like to first start with an apology on behalf of the rest of the students in AP Spanish for the appalling behavior they have shown. Bombarding you with emails is unacceptable and should never be the solution to a bad grade. Personally, I believe the grades you gave me on the culture comparison is fairly justified and the only thing I will do in the face of an 80% is try to do better next time. The rest of the class should realize that and stop causing an uproar over something small. There are many more important things to worry about. However, I don't think you realize how common this type of thing is. You said that we shouldn't feel stress, but we, as a whole, are very stressed because of peer, parental, and self pressure to perform well in school. Just last week, the students in AP Chemistry repeatedly emailed Mr. Amendola about a question on the homework that would have been 1 point out of over 1000 total points for homework, which is a section that counts for 10% of the marking period grade (the question means absolutely nothing). We take this sort of stuff way too seriously and it's been a problem for a long time. Unfortunately, the reason why I think this continues even in senior year is that teachers are indulging students who "beg" for points from teachers. I don't know how to fix the problem but I think you did a good thing pointing out how rude and demeaning it is for teachers to receive multiple emails asking for grade increases. I believe that an easy way of handling it is sending an email to everyone who emailed you basically saying "too bad" and leaving it at
