In the play Macbeth, William Shakespeare discusses revenge. Specifically, he suggests that revenge never works out in the end. In this play, Shakespeare has Macbeth say, “The castle of Macduff I will surprise/ Seize upon Fife; give to th’ sword/ His wife, his babes, and all unfortunate souls”(4.1.150-153). Basically, Macbeth is saying that he is going to kill Macduff's family because he fled to England to support Malcolm.
In the same paragraph, Macbeth says “ this deed I’ll do before this time purposes: cool but no more sight!”(4.1.154-155). This quote tells that Macbeth is going to kill Macduff family because he flied to england also he is saying that is he says it he's not going to go back on it again so he's going to kill his family.
