The PETA advertisement is not an effective use of Rhetoric appeals. The ad's headline introduces the words "Kids," and "child abuse," written in bold, which will capture the audience's interest even more than PETA's(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) phrase that is also included in the headline, "Fght the Fat: Go Vegan." Using the word "abuse," will result in the audience to focus their attention towards how the children are being treated. In this case, the child is being abused by being fed meat. Too much meat may cause health issues, such as obesity. People will worry about what the children are eating that cause them to become sick. The headline focuses more on how meat may be a factor of child abuse, which most of the audience
