Shirley Chisholm uses logos to convince her audience that her argument is logical and reasonable. Logos, Greek for “a word” or “reason”, is the use of logical thought, fact, and rationality. Chisholm points out that “Working conditions and hours that are harmful to women are harmful to men; wages that are unfair for women are unfair for men” (Chisholm 3).
