Janeth Cruz Inst. Harbinson English 111 2 April 2024 Rhetorical Analysis Essay: The Medical Field is Failing Obese People. Obese people are not as cared for as an average weighed person would be at a doctor's office. They have to go through overweight discrimination by the doctors and nurses that take care of them. Therefore, the doctor takes less time looking for the reason for the patient's symptoms and blames it on the person's weight. Studies have proven that this is true and that most obese people die from undiagnosed illnesses rather than their own weight.
