Ricky Spanish Versus Batman
People have argued for decades about the similarities and differences between two superheroes. Many people believe that one superhero is better simply because of their powers and costume. Superheroes such as Ricky Spanish and Batman are very similar in terms of how they got where they are but are also different in many aspects. Ricky Spanish and Batman have differences in motives, experiences, and characteristics which differentiates them from the rest. These two superheroes also have some similarities such as a tragic incident, similar experiences, and similar goals that makes them very close comparisons, but not the same.
Ricky’s motives were different then Batman’s motives as Ricky did not truly have solid motives in his life except to survive in the streets. In the beginning of the venture, Batman was not Batman but just Bruce. Bruce had a clear motive and that was to avenge his parents death while Ricky just wanted to kill himself after his parents death. Ricky grew up in the streets fighting everyday while Bruce had a more comfortable and normal childhood. The projects was a much harder place for a child like Ricky to have a normal life compared to Bruce as it was more of a survival zone. Bruce lived in a house and attended school compared to Ricky who lived in public housing and was greeted with fist fights almost everyday. Ricky barely had a father during his childhood while Bruce had a father who was always there to support him. Ricky’s mother was abused by his father while Bruce just had a mother and father who were caring toward each other.
