Every moment that Julie’s father spits, it releases the detestation he has for the Cacciamani family. The spit would represent one of the many ambitions for them: the Cacciamani’s absence. Therefore, the Roseman family simply desire indifferent, discrete complications. They would strive to completely disregard that family whether by arriving close in contact or simply referring to them. In fact, this act would rather distract their mindset.
