Road to Perdition is great movie from start to finish. The movie starts out with Michael Jr. (the son) telling the viewers that his father’s only fear was that his son would become man like him. From this point you get a hint of what the plot is about. Key elements make Road to perdition a terrific movie. The plot is superb with no holes. The acting, from the main characters to the supporting characters, is wonderful. And the cinematography shows how impactful the scenes are. These elements highlight the film.

Another way of scenes in the plot connecting with one another is when Michael Sr. and Jr. seek refuge at the farmer’s house when Michael Sr. is shot. The farmer and his wife help Michael Sr. get healthy. When Michael Sr. eventually dies, Michael Jr. returns to their house at the end of the movie. There were no camera angles that you would question. And some shots really brought out scenes in the film. When Michael Sr. goes to kill Connor, it does not show who Michael Sr. shot at first. It took me by surprise when it did show who just died. Connor was taking a bath and the door was open to the bathroom. There were no cameras in the bathroom. After Michael Sr. kills him the door begins to shut. On the door there was a mirror, eventually the door begins to shut and shows the reflection Connor’s dead corpse. That scene alone had tons of impact on the movie because it was one of Michael Sr.’s goals and also because the camera angle shows the impact that was
