Robert Fulton invented the steamboat during the Industrial Revolution. Robert Fulton was born on November 14, 1765, in Little Britain Township, PA. Robert Fulton had three siblings, which are Abraham, Mary, Isabella, and Elizabeth. Robert was able to learn to read, at home, and so, he went to Quaker.
