Robert Owen, in 1771 he was the sixth of seven children, was born in Mid-Wales in a small market town in New Town of Montgomeryshire. In addition, his father named Robert Owen, had a small business, such as bugs and hardware store. Owen's mother came from a rich farmer called Williams. Owen persuaded his partners to buy the New Lanark, after his marriage to Caroline, [3] in September 1799 he made his home there. He was the owner of the manager and part of the plant (in January 1810). Encouraged by his success in the management of Manchester cotton factory, he wanted to implement the New Lanark in purely commercial high of principle than those.
Mill of New Lanark had been started in 1785 by David Dale and Richard Arkwright. Falls of Clyde River power of water to provide was Mashi big attraction.
