The Rock and Roll hall of fame isn't restricted to artists classified in the “rock and roll” genre of music, there is many other genre in the rock and roll hall of fame. Most surprising is hip-hop/rap artists. The rock and roll hall of fame needs to add is Dr. Dre. Dr. Dre would be a good person to add because of his work with the popular rock bands; the yardbirds and cream, his solo success, and simply his impact on all music.
First, Dr. Dre has worked with the yardbirds and cream, which are both popular rock bands. The numbers sold behind those albums that dre produced stood above all others released by the two bands. Also, love or hate hip-hop it is undeniable that Dr.Dre has had one of the biggest successes of all music artists. His sales tower over 95% of all artists in all artists. His sound attracts all genres, but more rock and roll than others. This is due to his rough sounding voice, and heavy beats he produces which catches eyes of rock and roll fans. His success is, notably, boosted by Rock and Roll hall of famer, tupac. Love or hate the guy his success is above 95% of all in the music industry.
Finally, Dr. Dres impact on music is beyond millions of millions. The music indutry is a big family, while country and hip-hop are polar opposites, when one genre does good it looks good on all. Dr. Dre’s debut album “the chronicles” is looked at as one of the top 10 albums ever released. The roughness of is attracted hundreds of millions, including many rock fans.
