Candy Candy is one of the best inventions in human civilization and is one of the most favored treats of all time. Two of the most well known candies are Jolly Rancher and Tootsie Roll. There are many arguments about which one is better in different aspects. I personally love Jolly Ranchers. In my opinion, I believe Jolly Ranchers are better than Tootsie Rolls.
The book, Gym Candy, was written by Carl Deuker. Although as little as I read, he is my favorite author of all time. I really enjoyed reading this book for a few reasons. For one, I could relate to what Mick, the main character, was going through. Throughout Gym Candy, I really enjoyed how intense the story would become at times.
Candy Land was once a peaceful nation until King Airheads XVI rose to power. Under his control, the social structure of Candy Land was poor, unstable, and unfair; the government was corrupt as well. Ancien Régime was the political and social system of the Kingdom of Candy Land during the Late Middle Ages. The unfair social structure was made up of three estates: the first estate, the second estate, and the third estate, exactly like the French social structure during the French Revolution. The first estate held 1% of the total population of Candy Land which included the Kit-Kat’s (clergies).
For a lot of hunters, nothing starts the year off better than a freezer full of venison. In some cases, however, the "would-be" venison gets its revenge. An unidentified man, 72, from Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, had to be rushed to the local hospital by ambulance after a wounded deer attacked him. According to the Fond Du Lac Police Department, the man had been hunting with his family when he shot a doe using his crossbow. The trouble came when he went to retrieve his trophy.
The Little Rock Nine was a group of nine high school African American high school students that were prevented the right to go to Little Rock High School located in the capital of Arkansas. The nine students' names were Ernest Green, Elizabeth Eckford, Jefferson Thomas, Terrence Roberts, Carlotta Walls LaNier, Minnijean Brown, Gloria Ray Karlmark,, Thelma Mothershed, and Melba Pattillo Beals. The Little Rock Nine had a test to the Brown vs Board of education which was a court case resulting in segregation to be unconstitutional. Let's start from the very beginning. The Brown vs Board of Education case was happening because Oliver Brown of Topeka Kansas wanted to integrate schools instead of the segregation that was taking place.
In the articles, "How Candy Conquered America" and "This Cupcake Is Trying To Hurt You" by Lauren Tarshis and Kristin Lewis, it explains how candy became so popular in America, but also how to conduct away from all the sugar. First of all, you can stay away from sugar by drinking more water than soda. This indicates that drinking more water might seem small, but when you replace water when you drink soda most of the time, you won't consume that much more sugar.
I believe the most important episode in the novel is “El Dorado.” El Dorado is a beautiful country, both naturally and manmade. It is a land of great wealth, and its citizens have everything they could possibly need or want. The citizens of El Dorado are unaware that they are the richest people in the world. Because its people value their “pebbles and mud” as materials and not as sources of power, it is a peaceful land.

On September 4, 1957 nine African American students changed everything. Civil Rights had to start somewhere and that somewhere was with the desegregation of public schools. One of the biggest impacts was a school called Little Rock Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas. A group of African American students later called “Little Rock Nine” changed their lives by going to a former all white-school. A group of students that wanted public schools to be desegregated was one of the events that led to the Civil Rights Movement.

The rocks they used were called grinding rocks. The Miwoks would make these buildings from twigs and branches and vines to store acorns and pine nuts for further use
Finding the history of Sugar Glass is hard since it is not mentioned much these days because computers have improved over the years, so much that digital simulations of shattering glass are easier and cheaper to pay for. In the latest Jurassic world, there are a few scenes when large computer generated dinosaurs are fighting and smash multiple windows. These windows they smash are digitally created and digitally manipulated to shatter. The reason sugar glass would not work for scenes with digitally created objects is that they are digital and would not be able to shatter the glass
According to geology.com, Garnets are minerals are in metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary rocks. Most garnet forms at convergent plate boundaries where shale is being acted upon by regional metamorphism. The heat and pressure of metamorphism breaks chemical bonds and causes minerals to recrystallize into structures that are stable under the new temperature-pressure environment. As these rocks are metamorphosed, the garnets start as tiny grains and enlarge slowly over time as metamorphism progresses. As they grow, they displace, replace, and include the surrounding rock materials.
The Sioux Indians were allied with many Native Americans during the civil war period. The Lakota tribes, which are apart of the total Sioux population, attacked the settlers and emigrants moving into the land forcing America to respond. America responded by sending an army to Lakota killing many women, men, and children. A series of short followed these attacks, which led the Sioux to flee west to their allies in Montana and the Dakota Territory. This action increased illegal settlement after the civil war, which led to another war shortly.
