Jackie Robinson went to Hawaii in 1941 to join the semiprofessional football team, the Honolulu Bears. After the season had ended, Jackie then intended to be a running back for the Los Angeles Bulldogs. But the Japanese attacked Pearl harbor at this time and that interrupted and unfortunately ended Jackie's football career. Jackie wasn't a good football player. He was a great football player.

I'm super proud of him and all his success, like to huge extreme. As I wrote this paper I began to realize, it's not just about winning trophies and medals to Gary, it's something way more. With all his success he could have chose to become big headed and cocky person, but he chose to choose the path of being thankful and blessed beyond all things. His love for the game is an all time high, but yet he still puts family, friends and school first.
