My name is Luis Strozzi and I'm 17 years old. I was born on the day October 1 1999 in New York, U.S.A. at that time my dad was apart of the NYPD the New York Police Department, so that Kent I would hardly see him and when I do get to see him it's either in a hospital or when my mom and dad would arguing that he never spends time with us which is true but I did not mind it. wanted to be a policeman just like my dad, each Halloween I would dress up as a policeman. At the age of 15 my dad was shot right in the chest and that was the last time I saw him, when I was around 10 I moved to San Andreas to settle down and that's what I did but all those lonely nights made me think about my dad and his legacy in the NYPD and now I want to take the path
He enjoyed numerous things about living there, including the schools, museums and the different cultures living around him. Nevertheless, with all places there are dislikes. He didn't like how there were many crowds, and it was too hectic at times. He also didn't like how hot it would get during summers and that you had to
A reason that contribute to why the author chose NY is because it is an urban place and it has numerous technological advancements. A tribe was able to survive and carry on their legacy. This tribe inhabited in a countryside west of a river (the Hudson River or Ou-dis-sun as referred to in the narrative). Life for people was certainly straightforward and simple, this was because the war
Many successful people live there and it is a overpopulated city with mind blowing views and
Living there isn’t the greatest but it certainly has its advantages.
In New York, it is possible to see many amazing things. I visited Times Square, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center. It is also possible
I grew up in Long Beach, New York which is located approximately 45 minutes away from Manhatten. Long Beach is a tourist town and our small four square mile town doubled in population, from 33,000 to 60,000 people over the summer months. Growing up by the beach was something I took for granted at the time because I was not aware of what a luxury that was until I moved to the middle of Indiana for college. There are two main things you can do in Long Beach and that is going to the beach or eating out. Other than that the town is fairly uneventful.
Except for the sporadic earthquakes. Where as in Pennsylvania you really experience all four seasons, winter (snow), spring, summer, and fall minus the sporadic earthquakes. I never truly experienced an earthquake until I moved to California it was quite frightening, and personally, I rather live without the earthquakes. Last but not least, California is the entertainment capital of the world. Hollywood is the place to come to make your dreams come true.
Although I've spent the majority of my life on Long Island, I spent the first 6 years of my life living in Queens, NY. It's where I was born, and it's helped shape who I am since before I was born. Queens is the most culturally diverse county in the United States and therefore one of the most diverse places on the planet. Close to 50% of it's residents are foreign born and over 120 different languages are spoken in the largest borough of New York City. Most people refer to the US as a melting pot, but I believe it's more like a big patchwork quilt.
After having the opportunity to meet people from all over, in my line of work I am given the pleasure of holding a conversation with people and actually getting the chance to know more about where they are from and why they chose to come here. Generally they talk about how the people are so nice and they didn’t expect to meet good people here. I have heard many people from northern states like New York, Maryland, or Massachusetts say “We heard that people around here just aren’t the brightest.” I have also been asked if there are a lot of “rednecks” here. This would be another stereotype that small, countryside towns are represented by.
extended the boundaries of the permissible sphere of action in government (Tomas, 15). She was outspoken and liked to have control of situations. For example, in one of her letters to her husband she displays her confiedent personality. Lucrezia states, “ Take care of yourself, and don’t worry about me, for I shall returned crued” (Lucrezia Tornabuoni). Despite being ill as well, she always presented herself as a strong and confident woman.
Miami and New York both are wonderful places to visit. New York, it is one of the most populated cities in the U.S for their large buildings and Miami is one of the state most popular vacation spots. Although there are several similarities between Miami and New York, there are many obvious differences between them in their economy, entertainment, and cultures. New York and Miami are well known for their economy. Living in Miami or New York is extremely luxurious.
Leslie Dewan once said, “Nuclear power is a young technology - there's so much more to be discovered. That's what makes it so exciting to me. Yes, there are problems, but innovative people are going to be able to come up with solutions and bring the technology to its full potential.” I stand in firm negation of the resolution. Resolved:
I am passionate about becoming a teacher. The reason I chose to become a teacher because I really enjoy working with students and I think that being a teacher is something that I would really be interested in teaching because I have got the experience to go into a classroom and work with the students for a class I am taking. Becoming a teacher has not always been my first choice but I think that teaching will be a good job because I get to work with students and see what they’re capable of doing and how they want their education to be like. The history of my passion, teaching has not always been my first choice.
It is now the symbol of America's strength and resiliency. Amid the busy streets and the concrete jungles, New York is a city filled with wonders. If you take a closer look, New York City is a place with a lot of surprises and these places mentioned above are just some of the beautiful spots you need to put in your itinerary when you visit the Big
