Before 24 hours of knowing one another, Romeo and Juilet get married. Romeo asks Friar Lawrence if he will “consent to marry [him and Juilet] to-day” (Shakespeare II.iii.65). Romeo requests Friar to marry him and Juilet the day after they met. Both Romeo and Juilet make an impulsive decision; they would rather be together quickly than live without the other. B.J.
